Our recycling centers produce aggregate that is as good as virgin, if not better.
Reclaimed Aggregates processing facilities manufactures aggregate products from recycled materials – asphalt pavements and concrete. Achieve high performance and lower cost by re-using existing resources.
We are assured a continuing supply of raw materials from Pavement Recycling System’s own Cold Milling Group as well as outside sources.
Our Colton facility produces:
- RAP Chips (5/16″ and 7/16″)
- RAP Slurry Dust (Type I and II)
- AC Base
- RAP Base
- Mixing Aggregates for CCPR
- Crushed Miscellaneous Base that can be used on building projects instead of standard aggregate base materials
These products are available in the above form or, through our sister PRS company Pavement Coatings, in ready-to-apply alternative pavement products.
Recycled asphalt aggregates are good aggregates that are already coated with a protective asphalt binder, so they are a more cost-efficient source that requires less binder when constructing a new road surface. Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) has accepted the recycled aggregate as a quality building material.
Our Colton facility alone is capable of producing 2,000 tons of aggregate product in an eight-hour shift, or 150,000 to 200,000 tons or recycled aggregate material annually.
