Reduce Maintenance Needs

Case Study: Swift Transportation

This leading trucking company set out to improve lifecycle performance and long-term savings when repaving its terminals in North Las Vegas and Sparks, Nevada.

Our scope included full-site regrading to improve drainage, cement stabilization to a depth of 10 inches across all pavement areas, and placement of Roller Compacted Concrete (RCC) to depths of 8 inches for heavy-duty and 5 inches for light-duty sections. Work also included troweling, finishing, sawcutting, and joint sealing. Additional site improvements in North Las Vegas included sewer, water, and storm drain utilities, as well as concrete curbs, gutters, pads, and sidewalks.

Designed for a 50-year lifespan, the RCC pavement will significantly reduce maintenance needs—minimizing operational disruptions and delivering long-term cost savings compared to asphalt.
